Close your eyes and imagine a 1950s chronograph with a stunning patina, blued steel hands, a robust movement, and an oversized steel case. Now imagine it comes from a brand like Universal Geneve. Open your eyes, because that's what we've got for you right here!
Universal Geneve is a brand that has been getting a lot of attention on the collector market over the past several years, and for good reason. Although now defunct, the manufacturer was once responsible for some of the most beautiful dress watches and chronographs from the mid-20th century, and the piece we have for you hear is a tremendous example of the latter.
From the gorgeous triple-register dial layout, barrel pushers, blued steel chronograph hands, and luminous sword hour and minute hands to the lovely patinated dial and 38mm "Jumbo" case, this beauty just can't be missed. Oh, and did we mention it is powered by the UG Calibre 130, which is in actuality a modified Valjoux 72? Or that it has its original signed crown? Yeah...this one is special.
If you've been lusting after a Universal Geneve - or any high grade vintage steel chronograph, for that matter, take a close look at this one. Because you probably won't find another anytime soon!
